President Donald Trump will lay out his vision for the next four years during an address Tuesday night before a joint session of Congress, his first major speech to lawmakers since returning to office in January. Trump will deliver his remarks in the House chamber, the same room where just four years ago, fearful lawmakers ducked for cover as a mob of his supporters rampaged through the Capitol to stop the certification of the 2020 election, which he lost to Democrat Joe Biden. Now, Biden is gone, Trump is back and Republicans have control of the federal government. The GOP holds small majorities in both the House and the Senate, giving them unfettered power to enact the new president’s agenda.
