In Barrows where the prices on average may be valued at 700k or so, you're making quite a amount of money from runes. My most recent barrows run, I made 6M in barrows's equipment. I then looked at my runes, and those were about 2.5M. Thus, you're constantly earning money, whereas with Glacors it's very easy to lose money until you can get a boot drop or enough fragments to build the Armadyl Battlestaff.

The choice is yours, I personally prefer Barrows because it's simpler. Other gold? Actually, Barrows is the only semi-rewarding, non-mind-numbing activity that can earn a certain income. I suggest it over other other possibilities. Otherwise , I'd encourage you to work towards quests as much as you can.
