A Romantic Black Tie Wedding in Ireland

About

Meet Lauren, a lawyer, and Kieran, who works in TV production. They were married on 11 August 2018 inside a ceremony at St. Joseph's Church then a reception at Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.

From FeelTimes boutique, Lauren chose an attractive lace mermaid wedding dress, with lovely contrast between your ivory lace and the blush-colored layer underneath.

"I loved the detail; the gorgeous lace, embroidery, and also the blush-colored underlay managed to get feel vintage and romantic. I always wanted a plunging back. It felt so comfortable however, there were several layers of lace. It ticked all of the boxes, and I knew it had been the one; tears overall!"

The bridesmaids wore blush pink halterneck dresses with pearl detailing, pearl earrings, with fresh flowers in their hair, in addition to sparkly embellished clutch bags.

"Kieran wore a vintage tailored black tuxedo by. He wanted something timeless. He had our names and also the wedding date embroidered within the jacket, that was such a nice touch. Everyone, including my Bridesman, was in classic black tie – they looked so smart."

To an Irish twist on Pachelbel's Canon in D, Lauren walked on the aisle along with her dad to start the ceremony.

"We met within our third year of university. After seven years, Kieran proposed a ski trip in April 2017. He got recorded on one knee towards the top of a glacier in Whistler, Canada. It would be a complete shock! But the shock solved the problem get on the black slopes (I'm an overall total novice) to celebrate. It was a memorable trip. We got married more than a year later."

After the church ceremony, it had been over to Rockhill House for additional live music and drinks. Guests found their way to their seats for that wedding breakfast thanks to an elegant rose gold table plan created by Lauren.

"We had plenty of little details including a basket with sandals for all of the dancing feet, bubbles for that child along with a gorgeous vintage copper birdcage for cards. Our table names were places we'd lived together otherwise from our childhood."

After dinner and far merriment throughout the speeches, there would be a surprise available for Lauren and Kieran's family members!

"We were built with a 'wee' Irish surprise by two Irish dancers, the, among whom tours with Riverdance and also the other is a World Champion. They were fab!"

When the time came for his or her first dance together like a married couple, Lauren and Kieran chose Etta James' timeless and wonderful song, At Last, played by their eight-piece swing band (sadly no information about this).

"It is really hard to pick a popular part of the day. It all visited quickly. I loved the thrill before the ceremony, the ceremony itself, and also the celebrations after, dancing with friends from near and (so far as Australia and Canada!). I would do all of it again. To change something, we may have been built with a videographer. The more memories the greater!"

Words of Wedded Wisdom

"Take everything in. The day is going to be over before very long. Be sure to stop and appreciate all of the little things and also the people who are around you."

"Although difficult, do not stress out. You'll miss all of the planning at some point! Also, don't be worried about being late!"
